Ammonium bromatum is commonly known as bromide of ammonia.

Key uses/benefits:
- Chronic laryngeal catarrh with tickling sensation in throat and an inclination for dry and spasmodic cough.
- In such cases, expectoration if any is white, sticky and mucoid. The cough is more on lying down at night, especially around 3am and causes the patient to wake up from sleep.
- The cough may cause the patient to feel suffocated along with sharp pain in lungs.
- Indicated in chronic laryngeal and pharyngeal catarrh, neuralgic headaches, and obesity. Constrictive pain in head, chest, legs, etc. Irritable feeling under finger nails; relieved only by biting them.
